We have been planning private California journeys since 2024.
California rewards attention. The coastline, wine country and mountains each ask for a different rhythm. Putting them into a meaningful route starts with deciding where to linger.
Our collection is a starting point for that conversation: five suggested private journeys, from three to seven nights, for groups of two to eight. Each page sets out a route, proposed experiences and example stays.
Your dates, preferences and the practicalities of the route shape the final plan. Our team sources and books your agreed hotels, private chefs, guides, transport and experiences. We pay the suppliers and provide one itinerary and one invoice, so you can focus on the journey.

Is every journey private?
The listed journeys are designed for your own group. Capacities vary by route: two to six or two to eight guests. The group size is shown on each journey page.
What does the starting price mean?
It is an initial guide per guest, rather than a confirmed quote for your dates. The final proposal should specify the group size, rooms, experiences, included meals and total cost before you book.
Are the featured hotels guaranteed?
Hotels on the journey pages are examples to help you understand the proposed style of stay. Specific properties and room categories need to be confirmed for your dates.
Can we change a route?
Use the custom trip brief to share different dates, places or a slower pace. Routes through national parks and mountain areas also depend on seasonal access and conditions.
Who handles the reservations and supplier payments?
We do. Our team makes the agreed bookings for your stays, private chefs, guides, transport and experiences, and pays those suppliers. You receive one itemised proposal and one invoice for the agreed trip, with inclusions and optional extras clearly identified.
When do we pay?
A 50% deposit is payable at confirmation, with the remaining 50% due 30 days before the trip starts. For bookings made 30 days or less before the start, the full price is payable at confirmation. Any component with different payment terms is identified and agreed before you pay. Read the booking terms.
What if we need to cancel?
Under the standard policy, a fully paid trip receives a 90% refund at least 60 days before the start, 75% from 30 to fewer than 60 days, and 50% from 14 to fewer than 30 days. Fewer than 14 days before the start, voluntary cancellations are non-refundable. If you have paid only a deposit, the cancellation fee is calculated on the full trip price and deducted from your payments. Does choosing dates make a booking?
No. Preferred dates begin an enquiry. Availability, your final itinerary, pricing and booking terms need to be confirmed before a reservation is made.
